Welcome, and thank you for stopping by!

Wescottage Music is a unique wedding ensemble comprised of five siblings located in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area. Our ensemble includes: 3 pianists, 2 violinists, and 2 cellists.

We offer a variety of ensembles from duets to the quintet.

We bring professionalism, flexibility, and creativity to every wedding and event at which we perform. Our desire is to share our music with you and to create the fondest memories that will last a lifetime.

Music is an impactful component to a wedding ceremony that creates a mood, stirs emotion, penetrates the heart, and is a spiritual act of worship. We believe that choosing the best musicians is critical in creating the wedding of your dreams - the very first day of your marriage.

We have been performing for weddings since 2008 and have set ourselves apart from other music groups through our fresh musical selections, impeccable musical timing for wedding processionals, our custom arrangements, and joyful presence.

In addition to weddings, we have many years of experience performing for corporate receptions, award ceremonies, religious services, nursing/retirement homes, holiday parties, memorial services, and anything else we might be asked to do.

Meet Us

We are the Wescott family! There are six of us in total with one sister living in Utah. We are grateful to continue music with the five of us in the Charlotte Metro area. Here is a little bit about us so you can get to know the family better.

Lauren Wescott Edwards

Lauren graduated from UNC Charlotte in May 2010 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Music. She studied piano at UNC Charlotte under the instruction of Dr. Dylan Savage. Lauren has played the piano since age six and enjoys playing music for weddings, receptions, parties, graduations, and other similar gatherings. She has played for churches and has accompanied soloists and choirs. Currently, Lauren is teaching private piano lessons out of her home, in-home, and online.

Lauren also enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with her husband (Jason) and their three children. Her current favorite Bible verse is Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Jennifer Wescott Courville, Wescottage Music, Charlotte Cellist

Jennifer Wescott Courville

Jennifer’s love for music was born through the children’s music programs at church. At age six, she began playing piano, and added the cello at age ten. For seven years, Jennifer played cello with the Charlotte youth orchestras and served as Principal cellist of the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra her senior year of high school. She later studied under Dr. Mira Frisch at UNC Charlotte, earning a degree in Marketing and a minor in Music in May 2012.

Jennifer currently teaches private cello and piano lessons out of her home. She considers it a joy to be home with her four children while still pursuing music. In addition to music, Jennifer and her husband are portrait and wedding photographers [Jon Courville Photography]. When she's not performing, she is usually shooting! And sometimes, she can do both.

Jennifer’s theme for this year is Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…”

Christopher Wescott, Charlotte Violinist

Christopher Wescott

Christopher began playing the violin at the age of nine. After two years of taking lessons, he became involved with the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestras and excelled to the point of attaining the position of Concertmaster for both the middle and high school orchestras. During these years, Christopher studied under the instruction of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra members Ning Zhao and Dr. Ernest Pereira.

After graduating from high school, Christopher continued his violin studies at UNC Charlotte under the instruction of David Russell. Christopher minored in music while earning his BSBA in Finance. He currently serves as the string section leader in Calvary Church’s worship ministry and works for Bank of America in Global Risk Analytics.

Christopher also enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, having coffee with friends, traveling, and being involved in his community.

Marianna Wescott

Marianna began playing the piano at the age of four. After four years of study, she took up the violin and continues to play both instruments today. She played a total of seven years under the baton of Dr. Ernest Periera in the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestras and Youth Orchestras of Charlotte. From 2013-2021, she studied violin with Violet Pan and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra members Ning Zhao and Dr. Ernest Pereira.
