Lauren Wescott Edwards graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May 2010 with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Music. She studied piano at UNC Charlotte under the instruction of Dr. Dylan Savage. Before that, she studied under John Whitaker and Mary Boyd. Lauren has played the piano since age 6 and has performed for Elie Wiesel (famous Holocaust survivor and author), a lieutenant governor of North Carolina, the Carolinas Concert Association, and a number of other respected men and women. She enjoys playing music for weddings, receptions, parties, graduations, and other such gatherings. She plays for church regularly and is an active accompanist. Currently, Lauren is teaching private piano lessons out of her home as well as teaching in-home lessons with Gemstone Music.

 

Through teaching and music, Lauren’s desire is to glorify God and to make Him known to others around her.
